Welcome to Graeme Miller Wines,
in the heart of the beautiful Yarra Valley wine region.

Miller’s Dixons Creek Estate, situated at Dixons Creek in the Yarra Valley, produces fine Yarra Valley wines, available through mailing list, online and cellar door sales, selected retail outlets and on-premise facilities.

The Cellar Door, situated on the vineyard, provides some of the best views of the Yarra Valley, as well as direct viewing of a working winery from the sales and tasting area. It also has a fine display of Aboriginal Art from the Central and Western deserts and Arnhemland. The Cellar Door is open seven days per week (except on Christmas Day) from 10.00am - 5.00 pm.

Estate grown grapes from the vineyard are used to produce eleven elegant Yarra Valley wines in distinct wine styles:

Our lovely dry red wine blend 'Quatrain' is our signature wine – In the classic Bordeaux claret tradition, this is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon/ Petit Verdot/ Merlot/ Cabernet Franc. Matured in French oak, the Cabernet Sauvignon is the dominant variety. A minor but important component of the blend, the Cabernet Franc is bought from a nearby property and is the only non-estate grown variety in our wines.
Varietal dry red wines –Our peppery, berry fruit Shiraz, matured in American oak, has silky tannins; Elegant Pinot Noir with a lingering aftertaste; soft Merlot with plum and rhubarb palate, and a robust and spicy Petit Verdot,  all matured in French oak, complete our complement of varietal reds .

Varietal dry white wines – We have a delightful, complex Chardonnay.  Barrel-fermented, it has  stone fruit on the palate, a touch of vanilla from the new French oak, a light buttery aftertaste from a partial malolactic fermentation and a creamy texture from lees stirring. Made in a contrasting wine style to the Chardonnay, our tank fermented and tank matured Sauvignon Blanc is a lighter-bodied wine in a European style, with  tropical fruit on the palate. Our Pinot Gris, also tank fermented and tank matured, has a delicate perfumed nose and a tantalising pear & apple palate.
Rose’ wine – Made predominantly from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, in the style of a light bodied white wine, this Rose’ has been fermented to dryness and is a delicate pink, onion skin hue. It is an easy drinking,  all-day Rose’ and an interesting, light-bodied food wine.

A Vintage Port – This lovely fortified is predominately made from Cabernet Sauvignon. It has wonderful fruit on the palate .

Methode Traditionnelle 2006 Cuvee Extra Brut - Three years in the making, this is an elegant extra dry style Sparkling Wine is 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay, made by traditional Champenoise method, with bottle ferment and maturation on yeast lees - released January 2009. Since release  it has been awarded Best Victorian Sparkling Wine at the Federation Square Showcase Series presented in August 2009 and the trophy for Best Australian Sparkling Wine At Rutherglen Wine Show (the second biggest wine show in Australia) in September 2009. In October 2009 the Sparkling topped its class at Royal Melbourne Wine Show (Australia's biggest wine show) 2010 Courier Trophy for Best Sparkling Wine
