Casa De Vinos began with the idea of a place where people can buy boutique wines and brews, and the gourmet foods to match. After thorough research into available cheeses, charcruterie, pastas, olives, and other deli foods and a meticulous selection of wines and beers, Casa De Vinos has become a boutique store at 227 Bay Street Port Melbourne. The business is 100% independent, owned and run by Jose Dymenstein a South American winemaker. Before settling in Australia to work for Mitchelton Wines in the Nagambie Lakes region, Jose has worked for wineries like RODA in La Rioja – Spain, and also in the Napa Valley, New Zealand and Uruguay. His passion for detail and discovering new winemakers and brands has meant countless hours selecting the perfect range of wines from local regions and overseas. One of Jose’s primary aims at Casa de Vinos is to have a point of difference by promoting small producers, from around Australia, and overseas. He believes that the quality and singularity of small batch production cannot be matched by a large company. With the luxury of having a winemaker on premises at all times, customers are guaranteed the personalised and professional service and the ability to purchase wine, brews, and gourmet foods under the one roof.  Enjoy a free coffee and a chat while browsing!
